Only two of the Studio Lords had Gibson-style openbook headstocks and the two screw truss rod cover (if that kind of stuff matters to you): the SL-450S (covered humbuckers) and the SL-550S (uncovered). All the other Studio Lords have the three screw TRC and Yamaha-style headstock. This model was sold only from March 1982 to sometime in 1983 according to Yamaha, and my best guess based on the serial number dates this particular guitar to somewhere late 1982.

This guitar is an absolutely amazing condition - hard to believe it's almost 30 years old. Slim neck, solid maple top, weight 4.3 kg. The hardware/electronics all look to be original. I made some upgrades since buying this last year: reflector knobs, Gotoh bridge, and Gotoh aluminum tailpiece.

Includes a high quality, well-padded gigbag.

I loved this guitar so much but it was too heavy so....... I bought a lightweight NOS Musikraft Ash body in SURF GREEN.....Nitro!!! NOT CHEAP!!!

This guitar is 7.6 lbs... dead solid and holds its tuning as well as any Strat anywhere. It has never been gigged and is in beautiful condition.

I really hate to sell it but I have to "thin the herd"........I have a ordered Custom Shop Strat ( almost the same specs) it's on the way so several pieces have to go!!!

The Roland RE-201, commonly known as the Space Echo, is an audio analog delay effects unit.
A tape echo device records incoming audio to a loop of magnetic tape, then replays the audio over a series of several playback heads before it is erased again by new incoming audio. The tape used in the RE-201 is the standard 1/4" tape of the open-reel variety, but made as one, continuous loop. In the Roland 'RE' range there are no reels of any kind, the tape is transported via a capstan drive. The tape loop is contained in a loose, constantly moving jumble in the tape chamber (also known as the tape tank) under a plastic panel which protects the tape and keeps it from getting tangled. The replacement tapes were known as Roland RT-1L replacement tape loops and sold by Roland.[1]

There are several control dials on the device that alter such aspects as tape speed, repeat pattern (an 11-position rotary switch), one instrument and two microphone inputs, a single analog backlit VU meter for all three inputs, wet/dry mix for both echo and reverb, and intensity (number of repeats, in a sense; it actually reduces how much the erase/record head erases the tape), that can be adjusted to a user's liking; and bass/treble controls to EQ the sound of the repeats (not the dry signal), as well as dry and effected "Echo" output jacks with a switch for output setting (-10, -20, -35db levels.)
Used as a delay/echo, the Roland RE-201 is said to produce an unpredictable delay that is warm and gritty sounding. It is also capable of producing a large variety of its own sound effects, even without an input signal (by turning the intensity control to maximum and allowing the unit to self-regenerate, or self-oscillate, while manipulating the tape speed and other controls).
Despite its age, the Roland RE-201 is widely sought after, and still used by many bands to this day, notably in the experimental work of Radiohead, and the rockabilly stylings of Brian Setzer, the latter using one recently to get the slapback sound sought after for rockabilly and such styles of music. The Roland RE-201 is also extensively used in modern electronic music.[2]

This very rare, all-original 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard was hand-built by the Gibson Custom Shop! This is not a mass-produced guitar. What sets Gibson Custom Shop guitars apart from their regular models is both the higher attention to detail/quality control and the woods used (selected based on several meticulous criteria including resonance and overall weight). This translates to better tone, feel and playability. I’ve owned 15 Gibson Les Pauls (Customs, Standards, Classics) and none have come close to this one in the over quality level and attention to detail! I’ve also owned 6 (USA) PRS guitars, and can honestly say that this Les Paul is in the same league!

The tones produced by this Gibson are amazing – thick, warm and very organic. Perfect for pretty much all genres of music – rock, blues, country, jazz – anything! Notes seem to sustain for days! Playability is as good as any Les Paul available - this guitar’s combination of excellent balance and moderate weight (just over 8lbs) make it an absolute pleasure to play.
